🫐 Blueberry Picking Is in Full Swing! There's nothing quite like blueberry season at Mead Orchards! Gather the family and make memories as you pick fresh, sun-ripened blueberries straight from the bush while enjoying the beautiful Hudson Valley countryside.

🍑 A Small Harvest this Summer. Back in June, we announced that Pick-Your-Own peaches would be available this month. Unfortunately, after the late spring freeze, our peach crop turned out to be much smaller than expected and we simply don't have enough fruit for Pick-Your-Own this season.

We love blueberries in our yogurt, cereal, muffins and scones - but this month, we thought we'd bake something a little extra special… Introducing Mead's Easy Berry Buttermilk Cake!

🍒 Spring PYO Update: We have some tough news from recent weather impacts: the late freeze in April unfortunately destroyed all of our sweet cherry crop. As a result, we won’t be able to have Pick Your Own cherries this year.

🍎🍂 Final Weekend Alert! Join us Nov 7–9 for the grand finale of our apple-picking season! Fan-favorites Pink Lady and Goldrush will be ripe on the trees and ready for picking.

BREAKING NEWS… We’re Reopening! The orchard swings back into action Friday, 8/22 at 10AM for late-summer pick-your-own fun: plums ($3.95/lb) and early apples - featuring our crisp, sweet-tart Zestar Apples ($20/bag or $36/half-bushel)!

BREAKING NEWS: Mead Orchards will be closed this weekend, Fri 8/15 - Sun 8/17. After a long, hot summer and the final weekend of blueberry picking, we’re taking a well-deserved break.
