Covid - 19 Precautions
An outdoor getaway with your safety in mind.
Here at Mead Orchards, we’ve always prided ourselves on being an escape from day-to-day stressors. With the Covid-19 pandemic still posing a threat this year, we believe exercising caution remains important. With that in mind, we’ve put together a set of Covid-19 guidelines based on current NY State and CDC recommendations to ensure the health and well-being of our customers and employees.

Please maintain a 6-ft social distance from others whenever possible.

Masks are not required while picking as we have plenty of space to spread out on the farm. We ask that masks are worn when in close proximity to other customers and our staff.

Hand sanitizing stations are set up at all pick-your-own locations in our fields. It is required to wash or sanitize your hands before picking.

We recommend waiting to consume your fruit once it's been washed!
Individuals not following these guidelines while on our farm will be first reminded of our safety precautions. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if your actions are deemed unsafe for others.
