At Mead Orchards in beautiful Duchess County, we’ve been growing delicious fruits and vegetables for over a hundred years. Our scenic farm with a view of the Catskills has over a hundred acres of corn, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, sweet and sour cherries, peaches, raspberries, and apples.
We pride ourselves that everything on the farm is hand-picked, hand-sorted, and hand-packed, preserving every ounce of delicious flavor for our customers. We sell at four local farmer’s markets: Pleasantville and Tarrytown on Saturdays and Rhinebeck and the Kingston Waterfront on Sundays.
While we love having visitors at the farm, sadly, this year we will NOT be having pick your own strawberries. Between the need to replace our older strawberry beds and the hungry deer, we just don’t have enough!
But everything else is growing beautifully, and we can’t wait to see you all for cherry, blueberry, peach, and apple pick your own seasons. Check back for details in June!
